A tree planted for every hybrid car: the FCA initiative

For each contract finalized with FCA Bank for a hybrid car, the customer will receive a specific code to be activated online on the platform treedom.net to adopt a tree from the forest and start contributing to the reduction of CO2. The initiative was launched by the digital bank of the FCA group, which has been engaged for years in thinking and proposing shared and sustainable mobility solutions: it's called “Tree on board – A tree for hybrid drivers” and is offered with Be-Hybrid by FCA Bank, the range of financial products dedicated to FCA hybrid cars, such as the new Fiat 500 and Panda.

The project was made possible by the previous agreement with Treedom, an Italian company operating in Europe since 2010 and the only platform in the world that allows you to plant a tree remotely and follow its history online. This is how the FCA Bank forest was born, where thousands of trees from hybrid car customers will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, in support - concretely - of a more conscious and sustainable mobility. Day after day, therefore, the FCA Bank forest will help offset the CO2 equivalent of over 30.000.000 km travelled.

Where will the trees be planted? Farmers located in various areas of the world will take care of it, particularly in Africa and Latin America, who will take care of them and benefit from their fruits, with the possibility for the customer to know exactly where he is, give him a name and follow his story through updates that will reach him with images and news. The "Tree on board" initiative will also be present in Sanremo during the Italian Song Festival next to Fiat 500.
