Thirty-three wineries involved in the project to enhance and promote the wine and food excellence of the region.

The "UWine" operation will involve university professors, industry experts, presidents of trade associations and representatives of local institutions to divulging from different perspectives the variegated reality of cultivation, production and marketing of Umbrian wine in all its facets. The management of the space will be entrusted to Umbria Radio (media partner) which from 16 to 18 pm will record audio podcasts with interviews, including videos, with the producers to tell their stories live in front of the audience as well as connected radio listeners. UWine will then be enriched by the use of other historic locations such as the Torre degli Sciri with the desire to promote activities such as tastings and micro-events that allow guests to directly enjoy the architectural and landscape beauties of the city of Perugia. UWine then enriches its cultural offer thanks to two partnerships. The one with the Love Film Festival will allow (Friday 15 September at 21 in the Sala dei Notari, free admission) to attend the screening, the first in Umbria, of the film "The duel of wine" which recounts the amusing experience of a famous sommelier who loses his sense of smell. An international film presented at the Venice Film Festival 2016 which also involved important figures in the sector, Umbrian food such as Marco Caprai and Gianfranco Vissani. The collaboration with Cariarte Perugia and the Perugia Foundation will instead allow those who purchase the UWine glass holder to enter Palazzo Baldeschi and visit the "Nero Perugino Burri" exhibition with a 50% discount on the ticket price.
