Interested companies can present their candidacy until 13 May 2022 and next September there will be the closing event of the programme, where the three winning companies will be announced and the prizes awarded.

First call-for-ideas program to accelerate the ecological process

This is the first program in the form of Call-for-Ideas - says a note - with the aim of giving a concrete economic contribution to Italian companies with projects aimed at accelerating the ecological transition and creating a greener and more sustainable world.

In Italy 14 start-ups and 80% aim for sustainability

In the Italian context there are more than 14 thousand start-ups and 80% of SMEs consider sustainability an important element in their strategic and investment choices, especially since "green innovation and revolution are at the heart of the PNRR and entrepreneurship has a fundamental role in the development of new solutions”.

The "In action Esg Climate" project was created with the aim of involving and selecting companies from the Italian territory, particularly in the "Cleantech”, “Smart Mobility”, “Manufacturing”, “Fashion” and “Construction” and in relation to the following areas of application:
• responsible use of natural resources, leveraging digital technology to dematerialise processes
• reduction of CO2 emissions and energy consumption
• promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources for a transition towards the low-carbon economy
• promotion of business models and solutions related to the circular economy.

To the companies that will present the most innovative projects and with a significant and demonstrable impact in favor of the green transition, the Insurance Division of Intesa Sanpaolo will offer a cash contribution for a total amount of 500 thousand eurosdivided as follows: the first classified will receive 250 thousand euros, the second 150 thousand euros and the third 100 thousand euros. The initiative is aimed at Italian companies that meet the criteria set by the regulation of the initiative .
