This year, in fact, Cantine Aperte a San Martino is intertwined with the Wine In Moderation Day the day dedicated to promoting responsible wine consumptionor, established last year with the aim of raising consumer awareness towards moderate and conscious consumption. The event, scheduled for November 8, organized by the international association Wine in Moderation with all its members including Unione Italiana Vini, wants to focus on wine as a driving force of stories and traditions and on how tasting a glass is a true cultural experience, a synthesis of emotions that remain in the memory. The slogan of WIM Day is in fact: “The greatest wine? The one that you'll remember.” (The best wine? The one you can remember). And the memory of an extraordinary experience remains, if the wine is approached with grace, respect and moderation and not with exaggeration.

For the occasion MTV launches a “digital toast” initiative, inviting members and wine tourists to celebrate the day of moderation with posts and reels using the dedicated hashtag #WineInModerationDay and the slogan “The greatest wine? The one that you'll remember” (“The best wine? The one that you can remember”), tagging the MTV Italia page. A way to make a strong and univocal voice heard that invites conscious and moderate drinking.
