Renzi: "And now Def and less taxes"

The Premier: "Forward like a steamroller" - Next week the Government will approve the Def and the decree that cuts 80 euros a month in taxes for less well-off workers - According to polls, the Democratic Party is the first party in Italy with the 32,5%, followed at some distance by the formation of Silvio Berlusconi, at 20,2%.

Renzi: "And now Def and less taxes"

"The coverage of the 80 euros in payroll" for employees who earn less than 25 thousand euros gross per year "is in the Def that we will present on Tuesday" and "the ten billion euros that will go to ten million families will be in the decree law that we will on 15 or 16 April”. This was stated by the Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, a guest on La7 of the Otto e Mezzo broadcast.

“I am convinced that Forza Italia will not come to terms with the pact and will vote in favor of the abolition of the Senate, the reform of Title V of the Constitution and the abolition of the Cnel – added Renzi -. Today we said enough to three thousand politicians in the provinces. We have to move forward like a steamroller on reforms”.

Furthermore, in Tuesday's Economic and Financial Document, the head of government specified that as part of the spending review, "the reduction in the purchase of goods and services by 800 million" is envisaged. As for the appointments of the top management of public companies, they will take place "as scheduled for mid-April".

Meanwhile, in view of the European elections on 25 May, the gap between the Democratic Party and Forza Italia remains wide.
