Registrations are down in Europe. According to Acea data, in October the decline in the EU 27 was 1,8% on an annual basis. In the first 10 months of the year, however, there was a decrease of 1,2% compared to the same period of 2010.
The most significant drops were recorded in Italy and Spain, -5,5 and -6,7% respectively. The markets of Great Britain and France recorded growth of 2,4% and 2,6% respectively. Stable demand in Germany (+0,6%).
Bad news also for Fiat, which last month recorded a 10,2% drop in registrations in Europe on an annual basis. The market share of the Lingotto also fell, passing to 6,6% from 7,2% in October 2010.
