I five “Best Tastes” of Wine this year in Italy? It was decreed by the2025 edition of the Gold Guide I Vini di Veronelli, volume heir to the historic Catalogues signed by the father of Italian wine criticism. And they are: Trento Extra Brut Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2015 – Ferrari F.lli Lunelli (TN), Bolgheri Sassicaia 2021 -Tenuta San Guido (LI), Alto Adige Terlaner I Grande Cuvée 2021 – Cantina Terlano (BZ), Costa d'Amalfi Rosato 2023 – Cuomo Marisa (SA), Trentino Vino Santo Emblemi d'Amor 2009 – Poli Giovanni (TN).
The presentation of the Guide had a special meaning this year, it is twenty years since the death of the great critic and the event was hosted in the former Convento dei Neveri, in Bariano (BG), where 'Il Veronelli' was recently inaugurated, a place that preserves the memory and enhances the relevance of the thought, both physical and symbolic, of Luigi Veronelli. In addition to the "Best Tastings" The Guide has announced the 10 “Suns”, prizes awarded unanimously by the curators to excellent wines and businesses capable of combining various factors, including originality, ability, care, history and foresight.

During the presentation of the Guide to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Veronelli's death, short essays of rare video documentation were shown in which he himself spoke, followed by a sort of "distance dialogue" by some winemakers, restaurateurs and critics who have marked the history of Italian wine and gastronomy. Among them Ilaria Felluga, Gianfranco Fino, Marta Galli, Alfonso Iaccarino, Fausto Maculan, Giuseppe Mazzocolin, Omar Pedrini, Michele Perusini, Arturo Rota, Maria Lavinia Zanella, Massimo Zanichelli.
