Il wine seduce anyone: singers, athletes and actors. Last in order of time Luce Caponegro, formerly known as Selen, sexy icon of the Nineties, former "most desired porn star in Italy" who presented her new project SelenGiovese, a Sangiovese produced in Romagna, in Bertinoro. But also other labels: the Selen White, and the Passerina Brut. Three proposals from native vines for wine lovers. After twenty-three years spent in the hardcore world, Luce tried to leave her alter ego "Selen" behind, dividing her time between theatre, TV programs and as an entrepreneur for 17 years as the owner of a beauty center in Ravenna.
Wine, as we know, has always been an element of seduction and sharing. Other stars of the hardcore world have been enchanted by the oenological power: from Rocco Siffredi a Savanna samson, Clara Morgane a Liza Del Sierra. It's the same for the former porn diva. And her wines immediately stand out: every bottle portrays Luce in alluring and seductive positions. The young entrepreneur from Ravenna created this new wine line - presented at the Hotel Internazionale in Cesenatico Giulio Petronici who, to launch the new wine, relied on the "most desired woman" for many generations.
Selen's labels
SelenGiovese it is a robust red obtained with only Sangiovese grapes from the Bertinoro sub-area. With an intense ruby color, it has varietal notes of violet, a strong scent of cherry and small undergrowth fruits. On the palate it is fresh, soft and tasty. It is ideal with appetizers and meat first courses.
Selen White it is a White Cuvee obtained from Chardonnay grapes and a small cuvée of aromatic vines. With a straw yellow colour, the nose releases a delicate fruity scent, completed by notes of white and yellow flowers and a light mineral vein. In the mouth it is fresh and quite tasty. Ideal for aperitifs and fish dishes.
Finally, a Passerina 100% sparkling and offered in the Brut version. Suitable for an aperitif, with raw fish or a tasty mixed fry. Yellow with silvery reflections, the nose has notes of fresh flowers and juicy fruits. The same ones that can also be tasted in the mouth.
