All together passionately to taste the new wine. The recurrence of November 11th is a celebration of joy in the countryside when for San Martino the must becomes wine.
Like every year, the Movimento Turismo del Vino organizes Cantine Aperte for this date, an event which, over nine days, offers enthusiasts of all ages, but also the simply curious, a taste of what working in the fields is and then in the cellar, to experience authentic emotions in company, toasting the beginning of a new agricultural year.
In the days of the Summer of San Martino you can take advantage of a return to mild temperatures to enjoy unique experiences between the vineyard and the cellar. From Saturday 6 to Sunday 14 November the member companies of the Movement propose tastings of wines from the last harvest and not only: walks in the vineyard, guided tastings, visits to the cellar and I still hear folk songs, lunches with the winemakers, tasting of typical and seasonal products, aperitifs at sunset among the rows, courses and activities for children and art exhibitions. All this, guaranteeing wine tourists unique experiences by reservation and in safety

They are 11 regions of Italy who adhere to Cantine Aperte on San Martino 2021.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia there are 30 wineries participating in Cantine Aperte a San Martino: 3 in the province of Pordenone, 18 in the province of Udine, 8 in the province of Gorizia and 1 in that of Trieste. There will be tastings guided by the producers, food-wine pairings, emotional workshops, lunches and dinners with the winemaker and typical menus to be tasted directly in the cellars, farmhouses and restaurants of the region.
