Un homage to the Father who had always dreamed of opening a restaurant here for his son and a tribute at the same time to the land that gave him birth: regardless of the suffering imposed by the pandemic on the world of Italian catering, Antonino Cannavacciuolo, two Michelin star chef, TV star, entrepreneur and many other things, opens in Ticciano, a fraction of Vico Equense in the province of Naples on the outskirts of the Monti Lattari park a new venue, the first restaurant of its own. It is a gift to his father Andrea, a promise kept. The location is a manor house that Cannavacciuolo had bought for himself in 1995.

He will be leading the kitchen under his supervision Nicola Somma, starred chef of the Cannavacciuolo Bistrot in Turin, a native of these parts that Cannavacciuolo describes in these terms: “He is from Gragnano, the town of pasta, and he loves Neapolitan cuisine. And he likes to eat which is the most important thing for a chef”.

Ticciano's restaurant is proposed as a moment of childhood memories lived in this land and also how summary of the gastronomic journey of a life of the great chef, therefore, will point to the valorisation of local products, but starting from Vico Equense, homeland of the other great Chef Gennaro Esposito, his brotherly friend, he will travel throughout Italy.

It's the concept of Laqua Resorts, catering and hospitality that will expand throughout Italy. If the Laqua di Ticciano will open in June on the Sorrento Peninsula, the chef has already created an accommodation facility with spa, overlooking the sea of ​​Meta di Sorrento on Laqua Charme & Boutique).

And that's not all, because Cannavacciolo, having recovered strongly from the Covid that hit him in December, is also simultaneously engaged in the new opening of a Laqua by the Lake in Pettenasco, on the shores of Lake Orta: 16 apartments and 2 penthouses with lake view, immersed in the nature and tranquility of Lake Orta, a spa, a Beach Club with heated swimming pool and bar.
