"An obligatory choice, given that in the near future Castel dell'Ovo will undergo major renovations - explains Maurizio Teti, Director of VitignoItalia - When we were informed of the impossibility of using what was once di Vitigno for many years, we immediately moved to find an alternative up to the situation. Not an easy task that would have been even more complex without the precious contribution of the Municipality of Naples and the Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, thanks to whom we are proud to announce that VitignoItalia 2023 will be held on Maschio Angioino, one of the symbols of Naples in the world. We are certain that exhibitors and guests will be able to appreciate the extraordinary beauty of one of the most internationally known monuments".
And speaking of international appeal, VitignoItalia once again confirms its aAttention to foreign markets. Also for this edition the partnership with the ICE has been confirmed, which will lead to Naples 20 buyers from 15 countries who will be offered the opportunity to meet the producers present over the two days, to then enjoy the opportunity to visit, on Tuesday 16th, some great Campanian terroirs whose production has always been one of the showpieces of the event.
Among the other innovations is the transition from the three-day formula to two days. “We have tried to meet the needs of many of our exhibitors – points out Teti – Reducing the days to two gives them an advantage both in economic and operational terms and at the same time does not upset our format. We will have a Sunday dedicated above all to enthusiasts and a Monday aimed essentially at the trade and sector operators in general. But without losing anything from the point of view of content with a really full program of meetings and insights that will involve both institutions that have always been at our side, such as the Agriculture Department of the Campania Region, and our historical partners such as Unicredit".
