As already happened at April, May, June, July e August,INPS decided to anticipate also the payment of pensions in September 2020. The operation will start on August 26th and will end on September XNUMXst.
As always, the change does not affect all retirees, but only those who collect their pensions at the post office. They are therefore holders of a savings book, a BancoPosta account or a Postepay Evolution. Those who have a Postamat card, a Libretto card or a Postepay Evolution will instead be able to withdraw cash from one of the 7 Postamat ATMs, without needing to go to the counter.
“Even for the month of September – we read in the INPS note – the payment at post office counters of pension treatments, cheques, pensions and accompanying allowances paid to disabled civilians will be anticipated with respect to the normal deadlines and will be spread over several days”.
As in previous months, the advance payment of pensions for September 2020 also aims to "allow all recipients of benefits to go to the post office in complete safety – continues the INPS – in compliance with the measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus".
Precisely to avoid gatherings, INPS and the Post Office have established an alphabetical shift system that spreads the payment of September 2020 pensions from 26 August to XNUMX September. The timetable to be respected is as follows:
- surnames from A to B: September pension payment Wednesday August 26;
- surnames from C to D: September pension payment Thursday August 27;
- surnames from E to K: September pension payment Friday August 28;
- surnames from L to O: September pension payment Saturday morning 29th August;
- surnames from P to R: September pension payment Monday August 31;
- surnames from S to Z: September pension payment Tuesday XNUMXst September.
