The 2023 Budget law also established the modification of the application scheme of the revaluation on the various pension amounts: there will be six brackets and no longer three brackets.
Pensions, the payment dates of January 2023 to the Post
Retirees who withdraw the sums in cash will have to follow the alphabetical roster. To follow the calendar for the payment of pensions di January 2023:
- Tuesday 3 January surnames from A to B
- Wednesday 4 January surnames from C to D
- Thursday 5 January surnames from E to K
- Saturday 7 January (morning) surnames from L to O
- Monday 9 January surnames from P to R
- Tuesday 10 January last names from S to Z.
This method of withdrawing the pension is valid for those who stayed at cash withdrawal, but not all pensions can be withdrawn in this way: for sums exceeding 1.999,99 euros it is necessary to open a current account, a postal passbook or a postal current account where the pension can be credited.
For pensioners who receive the credit in their bank account, as anticipated, the pension payment date is set for January 3, 2023. But it could also be postponed by a few days due to the holidays at the beginning of the year. This will depend on your bank.
Pensions, how much do checks increase in January?
Due to high inflation, the revaluation 2023 on treatments will be consistent: 7,3%. Furthermore, the 2023 Budget Law modifies the application scheme of the revaluation on the various pension amounts: the 100% revaluation of 7,3% was confirmed for checks up to four times the minimum gross treatment established by the INPS, 525,38 euros, and 85% of 7,3% for those between four and five times the minimum.
The check increases to 100% for all treatments for an amount not exceeding 4 times the minimum, or equal to a maximum of 2.101,52 euros, while for checks for a higher amount, the revaluation table to follow changes:
- between 4 and 5 times the minimum (up to 2.625 euros gross), increase to 85%;
- between 5 and 6 times the minimum (up to 3.150 euros gross), an increase of 53%;
- between 6 and 8 times the minimum (up to 4.200 euros), an increase of 47%;
- between 8 and 10 times the minimum (up to 5.250 euros), an increase of 37%;
- over 10 times the minimum, the revaluation is 32%.
More new are expected for the over 75 who perceive the board minima: only for 2023 the treatment will be 600 euros per month.

To find out the change in the amount of your pension due to the 2023 equalization, you need to check the coupon online, made available byINPS. To consult it, just go to the Institute's website and click on the appropriate service which also includes the payment notifications of the pension.
To access the service you must have the digital credentials Spid, Cie or Cns. Once you have entered the site, you need to click on "MyInps" and then go to the "Performance and Services" link, then open "Pension slip and related services".
