The prices of industrial production are decreasing. In the 17 Euroland countries in May the change was -0,5%, against +0,1% in April and +2,3% in May 2012. In the European Union, on the other hand, the decrease was 0,7 .2011%, against an unchanged April and May 2,4 with +XNUMX%. This was announced this morning by the European statistical institute, Eurostat.
In Italy, the prices of industrial production decreased by 0,3% compared to April, while they recorded a +2,3% compared to the same month last year. The same drop of -0,3% compared to April 2012 was also recorded in Germany. In France the drop was sharper: -1,1%.
