The period between 20 August and 19 September will be characterized by a heavy shower of tax obligations which will affect more than 40 million Italians who will find themselves paying a total amount of 410 different taxes. The biggest stumbling block is represented by the 770 models and was tackled by postponing the previous deadline from July 31st to September 19th. Forms 770 contain the list of the paid workforce and their submission is mandatory by employers. In addition to this, the deadlines for Irpef, Irap, Ires, Iva, Inps Tobin Tax and many others fall in the last part of summer.
Marina Calderone, president of the unitary coordination of professions, recalled that it is necessary to widen the access routes to the tax authorities by implementing an all-round bureaucratic simplification.
“An illuminating example in this sense – continued Calderone – is represented by the introduction of the so-called conflict of interests: it consists in making everything that the taxpayer spends deductible, without any limit. This would have a number of advantages: payment of taxes on actual income; interest in requesting a receipt or receipt for any payment; zeroing of the obligations since they are simple deduction counts. It would also be an effective way to encourage the emergence of blackness. It is a method chosen by many other countries, especially the United States, but which we are unable to get Italy to adopt".
The maxi exodus of the summer holidays will be fiscal even before automotive. In fact, there will be 171 obligations that individual entrepreneurs will have to honor by the end of the summer, closely followed by professionals with 167 obligations. Entrepreneurs, merchants, artisans, VAT numbers, professionals, co.co.pro also find themselves squeezed by a mass of payments in periods established by uncertain dates.
All of this makes lucid rationalization of activities almost impossible, as well as effective financial planning, fueling the bottling of titanic quantities of compliances, all piled up at the end of the summer.
