After the success of the debut in December, the Sicily Express returns to the tracks for the Easter holidays. The train, built by Fs Italian Tourist Trains in collaboration with the Sicilian Region, offers a direct connection between Piedmont and Sicily, designed for Sicilians who live in the North for study or work.
The Sicily Express will depart from Turin on April 17th, with stops in Milan, Parma, Bologna, Florence and Rome, and then continuing to Palermo and Syracuse. return trip it is expected for April 26th.
On board the FS Espresso Turistico, passengers will be able to attend artistic performances, tastings and moments dedicated to Sicilian culture. The service offers both seats in six-seater compartments and couchettes for a more comfortable journey. In addition, two restaurant cars will allow travellers to enjoy a dinner in a welcoming and convivial atmosphere.

After the ferry crossing on the Strait of Messina, the convoy is will divide into two sections:
- Towards Palermo, with stops in Messina, Milazzo, Cefalù, Termini Imerese and arrival at Palermo Centrale at 11:36
- Direction Syracuse, with stops in Taormina, Catania, Augusta and arrival in Syracuse at 11:23
