This is the meaning of European cooperation program Aristoil Plus (https://aristoil.eu), which involves five partners from four major European extra virgin olive oil producing countries, Italy, Spain, Greece and Montenegro
The objective of the project presented in Rome in the Sala della Protomoteca del Campidoglio by the National Association of Oil Cities in collaboration with Svi.Med Onlus, is to create a cluster of olive-growing companies oriented towards the promotion of the nutraceutical properties of EVO Oil , the Cluster “Med Healthy Olive Oil, developing a series of tools capable of maximizing and measuring the level of polyphenols in the oil, as well as a handbook for the production of a healthy and quality EVO oil.
“We are more than satisfied with the involvement of the olive world during the project activities – he declares Michele Sonnessa, president of the National Association of Oil Cities – but we are only at the beginning. Our goal as ANCO is to raise awareness among both companies and consumers and in this regard a great effort will be needed from all the partners of this ambitious project."

The ARISTOIL collar represents the starting point of a new adventure that will see the cluster even more present for consumers, guaranteeing them quality products from all points of view."

Of fundamental importance will undoubtedly be the growth and development of the Cluster Med Olive Oil, an arduous challenge in which associations of producers, olive growers and oil millers will participate as well as trade associations and public bodies, which will contribute to the constant training of all operators in the sector and bearers of interest of the olive sector".
