Kruso Art: Andrea Orsini Scataglini appointed new CEO

Andrea Orsini Scataglini He takes over from Attilio Meoli, founding partner, who is leaving the position after having contributed to the growth and affirmation of the brand in recent years. A choice, that of Kruso Kapital – which owns 100% of Kruso Art –, which is part of the auction house's renewal and innovation process, initiated with its rebranding last April and the expansion of its digital channels for participating in auctions; and, on the other hand, part of the broader internationalization strategy the group is pursuing. This process will increasingly involve Kruso Art, and the new CEO's profile will provide fresh impetus.

Who is Kruso Art?

Kruso Art is the brand of the auction house Art-Rite Srl a socio unico, acquired by Kruso Kapital SpA – Gruppo Banca Sistema, in November 2022. The auction house, active since 2018, is now unique in the Italian landscape as the first to be owned by a banking group. This step marks a step towards greater collaboration with financial institutions and operators for investing in works of art as an asset class and a further evolution of the company itself. In addition to the Modern and Contemporary Art, Ancient Art, Comic Art, Jewelry, Numismatics, and Collectible Cars departments, Philately and Luxury Fashion were added in 2024, and Antique Books, Autographs, and Paper Collectibles in 2025.
