From 2 to 3 March Foodstock, the great Street Food Festival with Rock rhythm, will take place in Rome. In the 2000 m100 of the Hacienda in Via dei Cluniacensi in the Tiburtina area. An event that attracts food lovers, with over XNUMX culinary proposals, street food, music, but also crafts and vintage with the Hippie Market and collateral events including performances by street artists, concerts, and entertainment for children. An essential ingredient is live music: rock bands perform every day on the festival stage

It will be possible to taste products cooked on the spot with raw materials from different countries, from distant places and be surrounded by many flavours, from dishes with the intense flavors of Argentine, Mexican and ethnic cuisine to supplì, gourmet burgers, seafood sandwiches with octopus and salmon, avocado toast, fish parcels, fried pizza stuffed with typical Roman cuisine or delicious vegetarian recipes, zeppoline, desserts in perfect food porn style for those with a sweet tooth

From Abruzzo come the much-loved artisanal "hand-cut" Arrosticini di Pecora and the stracotto, for lovers of Roman cuisine pure poetry with rivers of carbonara, amatriciana, gricia, cacio and pepe and for vegans pumpkin, almonds and Veg cheese.

In the two internal rooms of 1.000 mXNUMX there will be the Hippie Market with a caravan of artisans which offer a great variety of exclusive creations including craftsmanship, fashion, jewellery, tapestries, bags, gypsy and boho-chic clothes, home decor, corners dedicated to soul remedies, incense, crystals, shamanic drums, objects for meditation, preparations herbal products based on medicinal plants, medicinal oils and ointments.

Ukus in fabula concert, international Ukulele leaders

The program includes Saturday spaces reserved for tribal, belly and fusion dance, at 18.00 pm the live Ukus in fabula, international Ukulele leaders who boast over 100 concerts all over the world, offer an engaging repertoire seasoned with musicomic cabaret.

On Sunday the stage opens at 11.00 am with Rosita Cozzolino with the presentation of the book “C'era ma non c'era…” which will be followed by a Soffio di vita soap bubble show with the artist Soffio. “An orchestra of colourful, white and vaporous soap bubbles hovering in the air, full of smoke which fall to the ground to create a blanket of fog and fire”. At 0pm Cadou will perform solo in Clownerie with Sharon Tomberi, followed at 16.00pm by Resonance world music, a sound journey between vibrational sounds that embrace body and soul: concert with Gong, Hang Drum, Sax, didgerido, ancestral wind chime, and finally at 17,00pm the Hippie Family Band concert entirely dedicated to the "Summer of Love" and the artists of the great rock festivals of the period 18.30-1967
