Il Ifigest Banking Group announces the start of operations of L&B Capital SGR, following the completion of Soprarno SGR's acquisition of Milano Investment Partners (MIP), an alternative investment fund (AIF) management company specializing in venture capital.
L&B Capital SGR, a company of the Ifigest Banking Group with assets under management of approximately €2 billion, combines Soprarno SGR's expertise in managing UCITS funds and MIP's experience in private equity and venture capital investments.
The Company is led by a team of top-notch professionals with extensive investment experience: Angelo Moratti is Chairman and Tommaso Federici is CEO. Flavio Di Terlizzi serves as Chief Investment Officer - Alternative Investments and Private Markets, supported by Marco Seveso as Chief Investment Officer - Liquid Investments.
The SGR had already launched its first private equity initiative in July 2024 through the FIA fund Italian Renewable Resources (IRR), which invests mainly across the entire energy transition chain, and which has raised €244,2 million just over a year after its launch.
The 12 harmonized mutual funds (UCITS), previously managed by Soprarno SGR, will continue to maintain the name “Soprarno”, in order to preserve their historical and commercial identity.
