Usa, the labor market disappoints expectations

Employment is growing less than expected and unemployment remains stable. This is the response of the eagerly awaited US data on employment. In April American companies created 160.000 jobs, the smallest increase since last September, while analysts expected a rise of 205.000 units.

As reported by the Department of Labor, the unemployment rate it remained stuck at 5%, in line with forecasts and with the range between 5 and 5,2% that the Federal Reserve considers a condition of "full employment".

The news, not particularly positive, fuels the pessimism of the markets in the last session of the week: all the European stock exchanges are in the red, and Business Square it is among the worst, losing 15% just before 1,6 pm, well below 18 thousand points.
