Intesa Sanpaolo supports for the fourth year Los Angeles, Italy festivals created by Istituto Capri nel Mondo with MIBACT, the Ministry of Culture and ICE (scheduled from 18 to 24 April in LA at the Hollywood Chinese Theater in presence and online on the platforms eventive.org and Mymovies.it).
The event introduces the night of the Oscars and promotes Italian cinema in the world, is divided into a dense program which includes the section Italian masters by Intesa Sanpaolo, during which this year they will be awarded Laura Pausini and Diane Warren, in contention for the Oscar for the Italian version of the original song "Io si" from the film "Life in front of itself" (Netflix) by Edoardo Ponti with Sofia Loren.
Intesa Sanpaolo confirms its presence in financial support to the audiovisual and cinematographic sector, supporting producers, independent distributors, television content publishers and industry chain operators in identifying the most correct development strategies, proposing products and targeted credit solutions, including loans, advance of the VAT credit, transfer of the tax credit having disbursed lines of credit for 1,7 billion euro since 2009.
Thanks also to collaborations with Italian and foreign operators such as Amazon, Netflix, Sony, Disney, MGM, the Group favors productions located in Italy; in addition, it supported the production phase of numerous important titles during 2020, for example Mission Impossible 7, House of Gucci, The Little Mermaid, Cyrano, 007 No Time to Die. In line with its industry enhancement strategy, in 2021 Intesa Sanpaolo has already disbursed credit lines for 60 million euro, plus a further 50 million euro of tax credit to date anticipated
