The training offer, of three editions staggered over the course of 2021 lasting five weekswas formulated by combining the academic skills of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the field experience of Intesa Sanpaolo managers.

“We are clearly aware – commented Elisa Zcampo Marsala, Chief Executive Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione, the Group's training company dedicated in particular to SMEs and businesses – that in such a complex moment it is necessary to focus on innovation and skills development. New organizational models based on digitization and internationalization generate opportunities and are an enabling factor for making companies' business models sustainable. With our training courses we intend to meet the needs of SMEs and help them remain competitive both within the company with the new opportunities offered by digitalisation, and externally, with adequate skills to face international markets. All with the qualifying contribution of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart”.

The courses are built by integrating the concrete contribution and experience in the field of Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate and Investment Banking Division, through the Global Transaction Banking Department, whose manager Stefano Favale commented: "In a time of discontinuity and with market scenarios constantly evolving, companies are increasingly engaged in digital transformation and international development processes that require continuous updating of skills at all levels of the organization. Investment in this key area will allow companies to better support the restart of the business in the short term and to build a competitive advantage in the medium term. The advanced training programs that kick off with the 'Digital Corporate & Transaction Banking Academy' in collaboration with CeTIF and Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione are a concrete opportunity for companies to start this process of strategic repositioning of skills”.

To support Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart with CeTIF – Research Center on Innovation Technologies and Financial Services – which brings academic skills on the study paths that will take place in digital mode. The contribution to the project by the IMI Corporate and Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, led by Mauro Micillo, through the Global Transaction Banking Department, is fundamental.

“The launch of the Digital Corporate & Transaction Banking Academy with Intesa Sanpaolo – comments the professor Federico Rajola, Director of CeTIF – creates the ideal opportunity in which the Academy has the opportunity to bring its own valuable contribution within the company, promoting the development of Digital Culture and providing a strategic vision of Digital Transformation. This agreement takes shape in a particularly challenging context and the skills acquired in the various training courses that will be organized will provide companies with the tools to innovate and compete more effectively in the market, including the global one".
