The auction of Christie's Handbags & Accessories held at Hong Kong it totaled US$5.537.401, with a very robust sale rate of 92% by lot and 95% by value. Nearly 50% of lots sold beyond the highest estimates. The dynamic waiting room attracted animated offers from 20 countries across 5 continents across all sales channels.

The highlight of the sale was A RARE, MATTE WHITE HIMALAYA NILOTICUS CROCODILE RETOURNÉ KELLY 28 WITH PALLADIUM HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 2015 which fetched $208,644, more than doubling its low estimate of $77,038.

Lots that sold more than tripling their low estimates included A LIMITED EDITION MULTICOLOR SWIFT LEATHER ONE TWO THREE AND WE GO BIRKIN 25 WITH PALLADIUM HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 2018, sold for $44,939 against its low estimate of $12.840; A THAT IDE WITH SAKURA RED PALLADIUM RARE PINK, SOGO HONG KONG 2010 LIMITED EDITION, HERMÈS, 2010 realizing $48.449 against its low estimate of $8.988.

Other notable findings include A RARE, POLISHED OMBRÉ SALVATOR LIZARD BIRKIN 25 WITH GOLD HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 2007 for $60,988, up past its low estimate of $23,111; A GLOSSY BLACK POROUS CROCODILE SELLIER MINI KELLY 20 WITH GOLD HARDWARE, HERMÈS, 1994 that realized $56,173, more than doubling its low estimate of $19,259.

Lots that sold double their low estimates included A LIMITED EDITION MULTICOLOR MULTIPLIER, POLISHED IZMIR ALUMINUM & STERLING SILVER STROMBOLI Á PLUMES, HERMÈS, 2016 which fetched US$25.679 against its low estimate of US$12.840 (in cover photo).

A LIMITED EDITION SWIFT MULTICOLOR LEATHER ON A 24 SUMMER DAY CONSTANCE WITH PALLADIUM HARDWARE BY NIGEL PEAKE, HERMÈS, 2017 sold for $16.050 against its low estimate of $7.704.
