The 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction at Phillips, realized $108,143,000 with a 22% increase in resolution chest over the previous year on the department and in addition to the 58% increase on our sale day. Jean-Michel Basquiat's The Ring made $15 million while Norman Rockwell's Before the Shot sold for $4,7 million to a collector of contemporary art. But there are extraordinary results below the table of top lots.
