It will open next 3 February al Metropolitan Pavilion in New York the event Vinitaly International, created by veronafiere to promote the growth of Italian wine products in the North American market. The export of Italian wines to the United States has had no equal in recent years. According to the estimates of winebynumbers.it, in fact, our country is the first export of wine to the United States and 25,2% of the wine imported into the USA is of Italian origin. The platform organized by Veronafiere moves with the aim of strengthen this bond through the introduction of two new services which will be disbursed during the event on 3 February. On the one hand, in fact, US importers and distributors (but also Italian entrepreneurs) will have the opportunity to access the Vinitaly International Academy; on the other, they will be able to attend a series of meetings on the new B2B platform Vinitaly International Importer.
Vinitaly International Academy will allow access to a number of educational activities related towine education. Necessary education because, with almost 380 different grape qualities, "Italy is one of the most complex wine markets" and this makes foreign buyers "little prepared to grasp the nuances of aromas and flavors of our wines" said Ettore Riello , President of Veronafiere. The training sessions will be divided into step, from the "basic" to the "advanced" and "focus" level, and will be introduced by the presentation of the world-renowned journalist and food critic Ian D'Agata (as read in the attached brochure).
During the event, the results of Vinitaly International Importer, platform B2B (still in phase ) launched a few weeks ago to create a bridge to facilitate contacts between importers e Italian distributors of wine internationally. At the heart of the Vinitaly International Importer experiment are five companies that have recently been allowed access to the site BeverageTradeNetwork.com: a preferred platform that has connected entrepreneurs to approximately 15.000 American traders.
Vinitaly International will return to the Fuorisalone in March Chengdu (in China) and later in the year will also be a Hong Kong and Moscow. All this to promote not only the taste but, above all, the crop andexcellence of Italian exports.
