Orders growing in December in the Eurozone: in the last month of 2011 they in fact marked a +1,9% compared to the fall in November (-1,1%). The figure is provided by Eurostat, the Community statistical agency, which specified that in the whole EU (including countries outside the single currency) industrial orders increased by 1,3% (-1,2% in the previous month)
However in both cases the comparison on an annual basis remains negative: orders decreased by 1,7% compared to December 2010, both in the euro area and in the Union of 27 as a whole.
