Here comes the first railway strike of September. The mobilization, which will concern Trenitalia, Italo, and Trenord, will begin in the evening of Monday 7 September and will end 24 hours later, that is Tuesday September 8. Expected delays, changes and cancellations which could cause significant inconvenience to passengers even before the start and after the end of the protest.

The strike will begin at 21.18pm Monday 7th September and will end at 21.00pm on Tuesday 8thThe staff of Trenitalia, Italo and Trenord will be stopped. "The strike could lead to changes to the service even before the start and after its conclusion. On the same days, there is also a second strike, this time called by Cub Trasporti and SGB, which concerns railway company staff. Consequences are also expected on the rail freight transport. Unrest also in Trentino, where a strike by Trenitalia mobile staff from the provincial directorates of Trento and Bolzano has been called from 9.01 to 17 on Monday 7 September, which however does not involve long-distance trains.
Strike 7-8 September: trains guaranteed
For regional transport, essential services are guaranteed in the event of a strike on weekdays from 6 am to 9 am and from 18 pm to 21 pm.
As regards the national transport, however, to find out which trains are guaranteed and which are not, you need to consult the tables made available by Trenitalia e Italo.
Trains already en route when the strike begins will arrive at their final destination provided it can be reached within one hour of the strike beginning.
