Salary increase in exchange for global peace. This is the summary of the agreement reached between Lufthansa and the unions which allowed the strikes that had been called in recent days to be revoked. The agreement, anticipated in recent days, now has a more detailed perimeter. Lufthansa and the German Pilots Union Association cockpit union provides a monthly pay increase basic, for Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo pilots, of 490 euros each in two phases, the first with retroactive effect from 1 August 2022, while the second will start from 1 April 2023.
