Prysmian grows in Russia and Kazakhstan

The company specialized in the sector of cable systems for energy and telecommunications has obtained orders for cables in the two eastern countries.

Prysmian continues to grow in Russia and Kazakhstan. The group active in the sector of cable systems for energy and telecommunications confirms that it has achieved important goals in the sector of high voltage electricity transmission networks in the two eastern countries.

In particular, the company listed on the Stock Exchange in the MTA segment (it recently left the Ftse Mib) was awarded the project for the construction of the connection to the electricity grid which will feed a RusHydro plant, one of the most important Russian companies operating in the sector of power generation, located in the extreme east of the country in the area between Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, with a high voltage cable system (220 kV).

At the same time, the 110 kV cable system for connection to the electricity transmission network of a substation of the Rosseti group. Also in Kazakhstan, Prysmian Group has just delivered two high voltage cable systems which are part of the infrastructure development project in the area that will host the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty. The order includes a new 110 kV cable system and a 220 kV underground cable system, the first to be produced entirely in the Group's factory based in Rybinsk.

Today, in line with the market rebound, the title Prysmian earns 2,5% in Piazza Affari at 18,38 euros per share.
