Retirement in February, increase postponed to March
The government has revised the revaluation, keeping the rules unchanged only for those with a check of less than 2.100 euros, for which the adjustment was equal to 100% of the rate recorded (7,3% the provisional one). But due to "technical times for the recalculation of the increase", the increases in February were frozen "recognizing them only to those who had been re-evaluated 100%", explains the institute, adding that "in March 2023, the INPS will proceed to attribute the percentage equalization based on the annual amount to be paid, as provided for by art. 1 paragraph 309 of the budget law". And, still in the same month, "the arrears referring to the months of January and February 2023 will also be paid".
Pension, when the February payment arrives: the dates
From next Wednesday, pension payments for the month of February 2023 will start. Pensioners who withdraw the sums in cash will have to go to the post offices from 1 ° February al 7 February following the usual alphabetical rotation.
Following the calendar for the payment of the pensions of February 2023:
-from the A to the B: February 1, 2023;
-from the C to the D: February 2, 2023;
-from the E to the K: February 3, 2023;
-from the L to the O: February 4, 2023 (morning only);
-from the P to the R: February 6, 2023;
-from the S to the Z: February 7, 2023.
Instead, for retirees who receive credit on the checking account bank, the pension payment date is set at 1 February, the first bankable day of the month.
How to consult the slip online
To find out the amount of your pension you need to check the coupon online, made available by INPS. Just go to the institution's website and click on the appropriate service which also includes pension payment notifications. Once you have entered the INPS website, just click on "MyInps" and then go to the "Performance and Services" link and then open "Pension slip and related services".
