Vicenza Star Workshop got the "star" of ESG certification released by Generation female, through the Intertek certification body and meeting the requirements of the Generation Impact 2030 standard: independently verified and with global benchmarks, the first of its kind in Italy. The company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the design and production of opto-mechanical instrumentation in the Aerospace, Research and Defense sectors communicates this with a note, adding that "the company's goal for the future is to continue to create value through sustainability, inclusiveness and corporate social responsibility”.

Officina Stellare: the contract with the Italian Space Agency worth 1,7 million

In recent weeks, Officina Stellare has won the "Future missions for cubesat" tender announced by theItalian Space Agency (ASI) thanks to the design of “EarthNext”, multispectral nano-satellite compact camera intended for high-resolution imaging of the Earth's surface from very low orbit. The contract, a note explains, has a duration of 18 months and a total value of approximately 1,7 million euros, and involves the design study and the preliminary construction, with the development of breadboards, of a demonstration mission in orbit for Earth observation, through the use of a multispectral optical payload. In addition to being prime contractor and supplier of the innovative on-board optical camera system, Officina Stellare will be responsible for the integration of the entire satellite, created thanks to the fundamental technical contributions of a wholly Italian supply chain which includes the Federico II University of Naples, T4I, AIKO, TSD and Planetek.

Nano-satellites: a fundamental segment of the space economy

Il nano-satellite sector it is by now a consolidated reality in the space scenario: in fact, these are instruments endowed with increasing reliability and cutting-edge technologies. In general, the market forspatial economy, continuously growing in terms of size, investments and employment, is now valued at over 447 billion dollars in value, with a forecast estimate of 1.700 billion dollars in 2040.
