Italo, new timetable: non-stop Milan-Rome are 20 a day

Italo has published the new winter timetable: at the beginning of 2019 the fleet will increase and the offer will reach 92 trips per day (+65%) compared to 2017 – Great news also for Trentino Alto-Adige and for the Italobus service.

After that of Trenitalia, it's the turn of Italo's new winter timetable. Thanks to'fleet increase consolidated in 2018 with the entry of 12 Italo EVO trains and awaiting another 10 of these trains that will enter service between 2019 and the beginning of 2020, NTV's railway offer continues to grow, reaching 92 services per day from the first months of 2019. This means, according to the note issued by the company, an increase in the offer of around 65% compared to 2017.

MILAN-ROME

The "core" obviously remains the connection between the capital and Milan: the non-stop services between Rome and Milan will increase, 20 per day, with a new departure from Rome Termini at 14:10 with arrival in Milan Central at 17:12. This service will also connect Naples to Milan, in fact the train will leave from Naples Central Station at 12:51, stopping only in Rome and then going straight to the Lombard capital, also reducing travel times for passengers from Campania. Bologna will also have a similar advantage: the 9:10 non-stop train departing from Milan Centrale, arriving at Roma Termini at 12:14, will also stop at Bologna Centrale at 10:12, guaranteeing an additional service to the many Bolognese who reach the capital every day. Similar advantage will have the city of Torino which will be extended 3 non-stop services  ensuring new connections with Roma: departure from Turin to Rome at 12:05 and 14:50 with arrival at Termini at 16:14 and 19:14, while from the capital a non-stop train departing at 19:10 will arrive at 23.23:XNUMX in the Piedmontese capital. 

New link from Milano for Napoli early morning, departing from Central Station at 6:25 which allows you to be in the heart of the Neapolitan city at 11:10 (also stopping in Rome at 10:04). The capital of Campania will also have some news regarding connections with Venezia: a train will leave from Santa Lucia at 8am to reach Naples Central Station at 13pm and another new service in the afternoon will leave Venice at 20pm to arrive in Naples at 16pm and in Salerno at 21pm. 

TRENTINO ALTO ADIGE

News also for the Trentino-South Tyrol, a destination for many tourists especially during the Christmas period for the renowned markets and ski resorts. Indeed they pass from 2 to 4 connections newspapers with the cities of BolzanoTrento e Rovereto with Roma, of which 3 extended on Napoli and 1 on Salerno. From 9th December in fact, with the new timetable coming into effect, there will be a new service departing at 12:41 from Bolzano arriving at 17:25 a Rome Termini, at 18:50 a.m Central Naples and at 20 a.m Salerno. For those who want to reach instead Bolzano available the new 5:50 train from Napoli, 7:15 from Rome Termini, which arrives at Bolzano at 12, and that of 14:55 from Central Naples, departure from Rome Termini  at 16:15, and arrive at Bolzano at 21.  

Trentino-Alto Adige, e Bolzano specifically, however, they will not only be synonymous with train: Italo relaunch the intermodal service Italobus, integrated train-bus transport with a single ticket, per Canazei and the Val Gardena! ITALOBUS

New Italobus not only for Trentino-Alto Adige though: from 9th December confirmed the 4 services between the station of Naples AfragolaPompei Sorrento with 2 trips per day which will also serve Herculaneum  and confirmed the line Mestre-Cortina with 8 intermediate stops (already active since last summer). THE 4 services al day su Cosenza (connected to the Salerno station), to satisfy the great demand of travelers in view of the upcoming Christmas holidays, will be carried out with buses of greater capacity and comfort. Witness the success of the intermodality of Italo just think that today they are 28 localities served, almost 50% more than at the beginning of 2017, e 40 daily connections, which grew by about 20% compared to 2017.
