Hera confirms among the 100 most inclusive companies globally, reaching the tenth place since Diversity & Inclusion Index 2025 elaborated by FTSE Russell, a London Stock Exchange Group company. It is the first Italian company to enter the Top 10 out of a universe of over 16.500 listed companies and marks the group's tenth consecutive inclusion in the index, which evaluates best practices in terms of diversity, equity, inclusion, and people development.
According to FTSE Russell, the ranking is based on 24 indicators divided into four main areas: diversity, inclusion, people development, and absence of significant controversy. For the 2025 edition, the data considered refers to the previous financial year and the first half of the current year, updated as of June 30.
Hera's commitment to training and inclusion
In 2025, Hera strengthened its commitment with a new digital training path on MyAcademy, focused on preventing harassment and violence and promoting a culture of respect. The program, developed with the contribution of approximately 200 people, also addresses issues related to inclusive language, neurodivergence, parenting, and longevity. Joining the network "Together against gender violence" as a founding member further consolidates the company's role in promoting safe and inclusive work environments.
ESG Awards
The recognition in the Diversity & Inclusion Index adds to other important international recognitions. Equileap placed Hera in the global Top 10 in the Utilities sector and in ninth place overall for ESG performance out of over 6.000 companies evaluated, awarding the Gold Seal 2025. S&P Global confirmed the group in the Top 1% of the Multi & Water Utility sector in the Sustainability Yearbook, while the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe & World Index placed it first in the sector. Also Sustainlytics, part of Morningstar, has included Hera among the Top-Rated Companies for the management of sector-specific ESG risks.
