You race against time to get ready to Jubilee of 2025. Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese, Villa Doria Pamphilj, the Aurelian walls: these are just some of the interventions covered by the two tender procedures for framework agreements, worth over 359 million euros, published by Invitalia antenna as central purchasing body on behalf of the Extraordinary Government Commissioner delegated by the Minister of Tourism. The goal is to redevelop, restore and improve the quality and usability of 193 sites and buildings of the cultural heritage of Rome and the provinces of Lazio in view of the Jubilee 2025.
The interventions are part of the PNRR investment “Caput Mundi. Next generation EU” (M1C3 I4.3), which aims to enhance the archaeological, tourist and cultural heritage of Rome and Lazio by creating new tourist routes and also promoting the use of “minor” places or monuments. There is time to submit bids until April 19 2023.
Jubilee 2025, tenders worth over 359 million euros are underway
The two tender procedures published by Invitalia are:
- la QA procedure 1, "Redevelopment and restoration of the cultural heritage of the city of Rome and the provinces of Lazio", for the OG2 categories of works, was divided into 5 lots and is worth over 221,3 million euros;
- la QA procedure 2, "Redevelopment and restoration of the cultural heritage of the city of Rome and Frosinone", for the categories of works (OG2 - OS2A) is worth almost 137,8 million euros and is divided into 4 lots.
All the lots were divided into 4 performance sub-lots relating to the various services necessary for the construction of the works (technical services, design verification services, testing works and services). All details are available on the platform Invitalia antenna.
The initiative is part of the operational technical support made available by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance to the subjects implementing the PNRR investments on the initiative of the Extraordinary Government Commissioner delegated by the Minister of Tourism to implement the investment.
