The new partnership between Genertel (of the Generali Group) e Daimler Truck Financial Services Italy, a wholly owned German subsidiary Daimler Truck Holding AG, one of the world's largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles. On the basis of the agreement, Genertel's insurance offer will be extended to the business of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles e Fuso and to the Mercedes-Benz buses e Setra.
The insurance solutions of the insurance company, explains a note, will be distributed by the Daimler Truck dealer network and will have optional membership at the time of purchase or lease of a truck or bus vehicle with the financing o lease of Daimler Truck Financial Services Italy.

Insurance: three packages for customers of Daimler Truck Financial
They will be made available to customers of Daimler Truck Financial Services Italia three packs – Base light, Base and Premium – to offer Genertel insurance coverage according to needs. Customers will be able to combine a customized financial solution – starting from variable financial plans up to leasing solutions with a high redemption value – with a modular insurance solution, both for the vehicle and for the person.
The package Light base covers fire and total theft; that Base also includes fire and partial theft; the package Premium, to what is already provided for the Base light and Base packages, adds the guarantees "Acts of vandalism, socio-political and atmospheric events", "Crystal breakage", and the possibility of further extension to the options "Minikasko", "Kasko collision" or "Kasko ”. Furthermore, customers who decide to subscribe to the Premium package have the option of integrating their coverage with the buyback bonus, which allows them to recover and reinvest part of the pecuniary loss resulting from total theft or total damage from an accident of their vehicle on a new proposal linked to financing or leasing from Daimler Truck Financial Services Italia.
The three packages can then be integrated with further guarantees typical of Genertel's insurance offer, such as driver accident coverage and protection against unexpected events, in addition to legal protection.
