Fujifilm Italia doubles and launches Fujifilm Healthcare Italia

Fujifilm announced the creation of a company dedicated to Healthcare in Italy. The company will be called "Fujifilm Healthcare Italia” and will join Fujifilm Italia, a company that has a corporate portfolio diversified across multiple businesses.

The Healthcare company, led by managing director Davide Campari, will strengthen Fujifilm's presence in the healthcare sector by offering customers and patients distinctive solutions ranging from endoscopy, medical informatics, ultrasound, in vitro diagnostic devices, X-ray modalities and CT/MR. “Able to respond to a very wide range of medical needs thanks to its rich portfolio of advanced products, such as digital mammography systems and the use of Artificial Intelligence, the Healthcare business area is a constantly growing reality. Over the last decade, turnover has more than doubled, and the newly established company, Fujifilm Healthcare Italia SpA, aims to increase it by approximately 20% over the next 3 years", reads the company note.

“Over the last 14 years, Fujifilm in Italy has grown into a leading company 200 million euro turnover, thanks to the effort of every employee, good teamwork and transparent communication with customers,” Fukuzawa said. “I am proud of the leadership team, esteemed both by the Group's top management and by the various stakeholders, who demonstrated Fujifilm's commitment to the Italian reality and our staff. Today, the development into two companies further strengthens our identity in the area, strengthening two interconnected realities, each focused on its own areas of expertise", he added

“The presence in Italy with the two companies will contribute more significantly to the creation of value for the different users of Fujifilm products. Furthermore, it will allow us to focus on different areas of action with greater operational flexibility and competitiveness in the reference markets. It's about a strategic transformation aimed at the vertical integration of professional talents, assets and investments to achieve long-term growth both in the Healthcare sector and in some B2B and B2C sectors, such as Digital Printing and Imaging solutions", the company announced in a note.
