After passing of president Claudio Graziano, the board of directors of Fincantieri has decided to confer its powers on an interim basis to the CEO Pierroberto Folgiero.

Folgiero will therefore be responsible for the supervision and coordination of the internal control system of the company and its subsidiaries; the supervision and coordination of the development and governance activities of the company security system, including the activities referred to in articles 12 and following of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 July 2011, regarding the administrative protection of state secrets and classified information and the management of relations and reports on industrial safety with the National Safety Authority, the company specifies in a statement.
The supervision and coordination of the Internal Audit function remains with the board of directors.
The company will undertake, explains the note, activities to the replacement of the new president pursuant to the provisions of the Statute and the succession plan. General Graziano, the press release further specifies, did not hold shares in the company".
Yesterday, after the news of Graziano's death, the title Fincantieri it lost 3% of its value. Today the company's shares rise by 0,39% to 5,10 euros.
