From motorsport to aerospace, Marsiaj's industrial profile
Born in 1947, Giorgio Marsiaj is the founder, president and CEO of Sabelt, a company specializing in the production of high-end car seats, seat belts, technical clothing for motorsports and special applications of restraint systems in the aerospace sector. He is also vice president and CEO of Holding M. Marsiaj & C, founded by his father Michele in 1947.
In his entrepreneurial journey Marsiaj was also among the founders of the private equity fund Charme and is a member of the board of directors of Fenera HoldingBetween 1985 and 2015, he held senior positions at TRW Automotive Italia, as President, CEO, and Vice President of Fiat Group Global. From 2016 to 2020, he was President of the AMMA and Vice President of the Turin Industrial Union, an association he then led as President from 2020 to 2024. During the same period, he also chaired the Council for the Promotion of Turin's Artistic and Cultural Heritage.
Since 2016, Marsiaj has sat on the General Council of Confindustria.
