The former extraordinary commissioner of Parmalat will finalize cuts for about half of the total 4,2 billion planned – Today the first meeting with the undersecretary.

Il Enrico Bondi's plan will arrive within 15 days and in the part of his responsibility it will concern cuts for about half of the total 4,2 billion planned. This was announced by the Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Antonio Catricalà, on the sidelines of the Agcom end-of-mandate report. 

Catricalà also added that the first meeting was held today with Bondi, the new commissioner for cuts in the purchase of goods and services in the public administration. To support the former extraordinary commissioner of Parmalat, in the context of the strategies to be put in place for the spending reviews, the nominations of Giuliano Amato and Francesco Giavazzi as advisers respectively for the reorganization of the financing of parties and trade unions and that of aid to enterprises.

"We only talked about logistics," said Catricalà after the meeting with Bondi. We have found its place in the Ministry of the Economy and identified the offices of the Prime Minister which it will use and also those of the Ministry of the Economy. For the Presidency of the Council we have assigned him the inspectorate of the Public Function and the offices of the General State Accounting Office for the Ministry of Economy”.

As for the times, Catricalà then explained that "the timetable of the decree provides that within 15 days of the appointment a plan must be presented and then a report every month".
