Stock market, Unicredit continues the rebound

Continue the bounce of Unicredit in Piazza Affari: after the +6% achieved yesterday, the institute's shares gain by mid-morning more than 4,5%, with a maximum reached at 2,584 euros. Exchanges remain high, with 2,5% of the capital already traded in less than two hours of trading, after 12% changed hands in yesterday's session alone.

Strong earnings also on option rights, on the third day of the capital increase, which rose above 1 euro (+20% to 1,028 euro). Today's catchup follows the dramatic losses of the days that preceded the capital increase, when Unicredit saw more than 40% of its stock market value evaporate in just three sessions.

But it is the whole banking sector that shines this morning in Piazza Affari, with Ps first in class (+6,84%), followed by bpm (+6,65%, thus celebrating the arrival of the new managing director, Piero Montani), Banco Popolare (+ 2,72%), Mediobanca (+2,31) and Intesa Sanpaolo (+ 1,87%).
