That takes control of Deco. The Roman multiutility listed on the Stock Exchange has completed the acquisition of the remaining 35% of the capital of Deco, a company active in the waste sector in Abruzzo of which it held 65% from September 2021, the closing of which was completed in November 2021.

"Deco is 100% consolidated by the Roman group and contributes to Acea's Ebitda, on an annual basis, for an amount of approximately 11 million euros", underlines a note from the multi-utility.

The company - continues the note - deals with the design, construction and management of treatment, disposal and recovery plants for municipal solid waste and energy recovery plants from renewable sources. The business scope of the acquisition includes: a mechanical biological treatment plant (TMB) with an authorized capacity of 270.000 tonnes/year, a photovoltaic plant, a biogas plant and two disposal plants. Deco also holds 100% of the capital of Ecological Sangro Spa which still operates in Abruzzo in the sector of integrated management of solid urban waste.
