Alessandro Castellano is the new CEO of Zurich Italy. The company announces it in a note, specifying that the appointment is subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities.
Castellano – until today Global Head of Credit Lines of Zurich Insurance Group, as well as president of the life company operating in Italy (Zurich Investments Life) – will take the place of Camillo Candia, who moves to the Audit division of the group, going to fill a new position senior from 1 July 2018, in time for the start of the new planning cycle for 2019.
In the past, Castellano was CEO of Sace, a company that offers financial products such as export credit, political and commercial risk insurance, sureties and credit insurance. He has also held senior positions in Deutsche Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd in London and Mediocredito Centrale, Unicredit Group.
