Usa: the index of the state of health of the manufacturing sector rises surprisingly

For the first time in the last four months, the American ISM index has risen again. That index, which is used to measure the health of the US manufacturing sector, rose to 55,3 points from 53,5 in May, surprising even analysts who had expected a level between 51,5 and 51,8 points. It should be remembered that 50 is the key value: below this threshold the index expresses a contraction of the sector, above 50 an expansion.
