The US trade deficit narrowed to $38,8 billion in March from $42,1 billion in February. The decrease in the deficit goes far beyond expectations: analysts had expected an amount of 42 billion.

The American authorities report that it was above all the boom in exports of services that reduced the deficit in the trade balance.
