Unicredit and EIB, 300 million for Italian Mid-Caps

UniCredit and UniCredit Leasing have signed a new line of financing with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for Italian Mid-Caps for a total amount of 300 million euro. Thanks to the recently signed agreements, the joint commitment of UniCredit and the EIB to support the Italian production system is confirmed, also for 2018, achieved last year through a plurality of initiatives aimed at providing a total of around 3 billion euro of medium-long term funds.

The line of credit signed with the EIB is as follows: €300 million, which can be used by both UniCredit and UniCredit Leasing, to cover medium-long term loans intended for Mid-Caps, operating throughout the country, in any sector which, at consolidated level, have between 250 and 2.999 employees. The agreement bears witness to the constant commitment of the UniCredit Group and the EIB to support tangible and intangible investment projects and to finance the working capital of SMEs and MID-CAP companies.
