Trenitalia and Wetaxi: strategic agreement for increasingly integrated and sustainable mobility

Trenitalia (FS Italiane Group) and Wetaxi, the app call taxi with which it is possible to establish the cost of the journey in advance, they have developed an innovative service integrated mobility which provides the possibility of requesting on the site of Trenitalia the taxi with Wetaxi together with the purchase of Frecce, Intercity and Intercity Notte tickets or directly from the train using the ARROWS portal.

In this way it will be possible, in just a few clicks, to plan your own itineraries and travel from your home door to your final destination, also accumulating program points Cartafreccia. The benefit will be available gradually 26 Italian cities and it will always be possible to know the maximum rate in advance and to have guaranteed the spending cap.

This is a fundamental first step in the direction of intermodality which will initially be offered to all Trenitalia passengers traveling to and from cities such as: Roma, Milano, Napoli e Torino, both with trains Arrows, both Intercity. In the coming months, the two companies intend to extend the coverage of the service to the entire boot, continuing to innovate the service offered.
