N.B. Renaissance received prestigious awards e awards during the “Claudio Demattè Private Equity of the Year Award”, an event organized byAifi (Italian Association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt). These awards were given following the Biolchim deal, and in particular, the company was honored with the “Large Deal” award, which was given to the senior partner Stefano Bontempelli.
During the event, Private Equity Champions were celebrated, including Fabio Canè, senior partner of NB Renaissance, who was recognized with the “Private Equity Champion” cup at the end of a roundtable on the topic “Value creation: training a champion”.

Bontempelli expressed his gratitude for the recognition, underlining the key role of Biolchim as a leading company in the biostimulants sector, essential products for agriculture. He highlighted the extraordinary partnership with the entrepreneur Leonard Valenti and the entire Biolchim team, which has significantly contributed to strengthening the company through strong international expansion (in Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia). “This has led us to double the size of the company in terms of revenue and EBITDA. But I would also like to remind you that this success story is not only in the extraordinary financial results, but also in the fact that Biolchim makes an important contribution to making the agricultural sector more sustainable and therefore creating a better environment for everyone", concluded Bontempelli.
During the roundtable, Canè shared his perspective on creating value in the private equity sector. He emphasized the crucial importance of the team, underlining that NB Renaissance has built a reliable team over time, fundamental both in the evaluation phase of investments and in the creation of equity stories. He highlighted the team's respectful and integrated approach to the company culture when working with entrepreneurial families, stating that the added value must be of an industrial and not just financial nature, integrating with respect for the company culture.
