Poste Italiane has reached the “AA” rating according to the evaluation of Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a leading corporate sustainability performance rating agency, also joining the Stoxx Global ESG Leaders index.

The assessment was carried out on the basis of specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria. MSCI's analysis is conducted on 8.500 companies and more than 680.000 stocks and bonds globally.
Poste Italiane has conquered the double "A" compared to the rating "TO" of last year, thanks to the adoption of governance practices that respond adequately to the interests of investors.
In detail, the score is due “also to the improvements in the activities of talent management of the company, in terms of selection and retention of its resources, through the use of an articulated employee involvement strategy. The agency of rating it also positively evaluated the Poste Italiane group with regard to management of carbon dioxide emissions, for the presence of investments in green energy and participation in responsible investment initiatives”, explains the company led by Matteo Del Fante in a note.
Entry into the Stoxx Global ESG Leaders Index
Poste Italiane has also become part of the Stoxx Global ESG Leaders Index which includes around 400 global leading companies in terms of corporate sustainability and is structured starting from the basket of companies belonging to the Stoxx Global 1800.
The companies are selected with best in class criteria based on the sustainability rating assigned by Sustainalytics with reference to the main performance indicators.
Based on the score obtained against the individual dimensions Esg, companies can access three specialized indices: Stoxx Global ESG Environmental Leaders, Stoxx Global ESG Social Leaders, Stoxx Global ESG Governance Leaders. The performance of companies within the indices determines access to the Stoxx Global ESG Leaders index. It is the first time that Poste Italiane has been included in the prestigious international index.
