There are no surprises about the timing; the date is the same for those receiving their pension through a bank or through Poste Italiane. After a month characterised by recalculations and tax adjustments, INPS should have completed the adjustment of the amounts foreseen by the 2026 Budget Law, applying the new tax rules and applicable surcharges. Alongside the Irpef cut, the 2026 Budget Law intervenes on the lower pensions with the increase of the increase to the million, which 20 euro monthly salary, going from 135 to 155 euros. The measure affects those receiving a minimum supplementary pension, recipients of the social security allowance, and holders of a total civil disability pension.

Thanks to this adjustment, the maximum amount of these benefits can now reach approximately 770 euros. In this case, too, the increase will take effect in January, and the 20 euro arrears for the previous month should also appear in the February 2026 pension payment.
